Lupiplax Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Lupiplax Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Patients may experience dizziness and/or syncope due to a vasovagal response (e.g. to abdominal spasm). If patients experience abdominal spasm they should avoid driving.

Kidney

There is limited information available on the use of Lupiplax Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.Use of Lupiplax Tablet is generally not advised if there is associated vomiting as the loss of body water can be harmful to kidney function.

Liver

How to use Lupiplax Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lupiplax Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Together with Lupiplax, fiber rich diet containing whole grain bread and cereals, bran, fruits and green leafy vegetables, is essential to maintain healthy bowel function. Avoid taking a Lupiplax for more than 1 week, unless prescribed by the doctor, as it leads to dependency on the laxative action to produce a bowel movement.  Take Lupiplax after 2 hours from other medicines, as it may interfere with the absorption of other medicines. Lupiplax should be preferably taken at bedtime because it requires 6 to 8 hours to show impact.

In this condition, a dark pigment gets deposited in the lamina propria (one of the lining layers in the wall) of the large intestine (colon).
